How Construction Fleets stack up against other industries

These are the 5 most common high-risk behaviours across all groups with their event counts.

You can see that distraction dominates here. Distraction, combined with unsafe following distance, is an extremely high-risk combination.

About the findings

These insights were derived from our proprietary database of construction driving data, including 192,000 risky construction driving events captured last year.

For comparisons across industries, we calculated behaviour averages from our global database, which contains driving data from trucking, distribution, concrete, utilities, services, transit, government and waste industries.

Our database maintains the fastest-growing proprietary database of professional driving data in the world, currently surpassing 200 billion kilometres of driving data. The data is anonymised, normalised and in instances of behavior prevalence, is generalisable to construction fleets at large.
